Never Forget Who We Are (Large) #1764
6" x 5" The motorcyclist in the foreground represents the strength of the Veterans UN-NATO Canada group. He is looking towards the future and he is supporting the soldiers who are coming back from mission. They understand each other without speaking as they have lived similar experiences. The soldier in the background represents our brothers and sisters in arms who are returning from mission with a distant and tired look. Behind the soldier, the black maple leaf is in memory of our comrades who have fallen. On the other side, the maple leaf is alive to illustrate that, either way, life continues and there is hope. In general, the drawing represents the unity, comradery and the understanding that unite the retired military and those still active.
